Hey Guys
I just wanted to put this out there, just in case people were having the same thing happen while using microsoft word 2010 and jaws 12. Have you noticed that when you get a word document as an e-mail attachment and choose to open rather than save it, when microsoft word opens, and you attempt to read with the arrow keys, you cant?
Well it's because for some reason jaws will not read a document while in protected view. To fix this, without saving the document, bring up the menu bar with the alt ke make sure you have vertual ribbens enabled, it's alot easier.. Go all the way to the right untill you land in the menu that includes save. Press enter on save A dialog box will come up informing you that saving is not available while in protected view. Click the enable saving button. You will now be in print view, and will be able to read your document just fine.
